About this wiki
This wiki has been created to support a Canadian "community of practice" that is devoted to sharing links to good resources in school health promotion related to aboriginal studenents, communities, and schools.The wiki is maintained by the Canadian Association for School Health as part of its role in facilitating the development of the Canadian School Health Knowledge Network.
This wiki is focused on identifying tools (educational, planning, assessment/evaluation and policy tools) related to this aspect of the health, learning and development of children and a comprehensive and coordinated school-communty approach.
We invite vistors to this wiki to contribute by joining the wiki, which will enable you to add, move and edit pages, add links to other web sites and documents, make comments on the various pages or the overall wiki in the Discussion Forum at by adding a "thread" by selecting that option at the bottom of each page , upload documents as attachments and create an organizational and professional profile about your work with schools.
To join this wiki, simply select that choice on the tool bar at the top of the page. Depending on the openess of each wiki, you will either automatically be added to the wiki, or one of our staff or volunteers will respond to your request as soon as possible
To edit a page, simply use the "easy edit" button at the top of each page. This choice will appear if the wiki is wide open to everyone anonymously. This wiki requires that you join the wiki-community in order to more than add comments.
To add a page, use the choice found on the left hand side of each page. When you make that selection, your new page will be created as a sub-page of the one you are viewing at that time. There are procedures for you to move the pages around within the wiki as well.
We ask that you use our Toolbox Page Template as a guide when adding new pages. This guide creates "slots" for contributors to add links abd other references in consistent ways throughout the wiki.
